Mortgage Officer
St. Paul Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Officer. Responsibilities for this position include originating first mortgage loans and counseling members in the selection program that best suits their needs and financial position. Duties also include conducting mortgage underwriting and closings. Successful candidates will have a solid knowledge of second mortgages and Home Equity products and also possess the proven ability to promote and sell other financial products. Candidates must have at least three years of mortgage lending experience and a firm knowledge of laws and regulations that apply to real estate lending. Loan Officer
St. Paul Federal Credit Union is looking for a Loan Officer for its Conway office. This position is responsible for the following: interview members using open-end questions and other tools to uncover and understand member needs, life events and motivations; provide loan and account products that will meet and exceed member needs; package and accessorize member requests with additional Credit Union products and services that will simplify members' lives and keep their accounts/loans protected. This position will be responsible for underwriting loans within Credit Union guidelines and making well-informed recommendations on loans that fall outside of guidelines. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of lending and loan decision-making experience and will have the proven ability to promote and sell other financial products. Special Accounts (Collections) Representative
St. Paul Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill its newly created Special Accounts Representative position. Primary responsibilities include: maintain effective control of all delinquent loans and overdrawn shares; meet with members to assist with payment arrangements, financial interviewing and loan workouts; repossess and liquidate collateral; maintain accurate data for collection reports; and make recommendations to management regarding when to initiate foreclosure and repossession proceedings. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of three years of collection experience which includes working bankruptcies and the foreclosure process.
